Introduction

Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole? To visit a surreal world, where black is white and white is carrots?

A friend, Metacognician in Shanghai, describes the situation as follows: “Life is more absurd than movies. I've gone down the rabbit hole too, when it just becomes more and more strange and you wonder how that all is supposed to make sense.” I asked him if I should just embrace it. He answered, “Why should you ... change the universe?”

It started with a psychotic named Jim Kiraly who resides, we think, at 6329 Twinberry Circle, Avila Beach, California.

Jim Kiraly is a respected citizen. A churchgoer. A Vice President of Transamerica Corporation. And a violent abuser who tried to use an emergency anti-violence measure, one intended to protect battered women, to stop his victim in a wheelchair from writing a book.

Concise enough? :)

For attorneys: Jim Kiraly filed for CLETS against his son and victim, who lived 200 miles away, did not own a car, and was in a wheelchair. His son and victim was not asked to end communications. Jim had no (zero) specific and relevant allegations that were not perjury. But he turned down repeated offers of no-contact and a signed stipulation that gave him everything but CLETS. He insisted on CLETS if his victim ever once “discussed” him with third parties.

In the end, Jim Kiraly signed an agreement far weaker than the ones he'd been offered.

A review of Court paperwork and other materials will tend to confirm that Jim and other parties, including attorneys on all sides, committed multiple felonies, crimes, and faux pas. :P

The word “abuser” is stated here publicly and without equivocation. A formal offer is hereby made to reaffirm the word in writing and under oath. Attorneys will understand the significance of the point. In short, there is little terror of a threatened defamation suit on this side. Actually, we feel that such a suit will fit nicely up Jim Kiraly's abuser ass.

Jim has one son, Ken Kiraly, who invented the Amazon Kindle and is one of the leads at Amazon's secret Lab126. Another son, Tom Kiraly is one of the leads, a Vice President-CFO type, at medical insurance firms, including one of the largest, Humana Corporation.

These people and some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley legal circles have committed or are involved in multiple crimes.

For the next decade or two, we're going to explore the crimes that these people committed, the motivations and the denial involved, the background and histories that led each person to make the choices that they did, and ways to build upon what happened and move towards positive societal goals.

There's plenty to go over. These people committed or were involved in: Spousal abuse, child abuse, DDOS (a highly prosecutable violation of CFAA), extortion, perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury (a possible felony), false police reports, conspiracy to file false police reports (a possible felony), unlawful threats, barratry, defamation, malpractice, civil harassment, criminal harassment, abuse of process, and violations of SCCBA Professional Standards.

The point was to force Jim's oldest son and victim, me, to sign a gag order. I was in a wheelchair. I'd never made a single inappropriate threat against my abuser. I wasn't even asked to not to call anybody. But Jim threatened to put me in a violence database unless I agreed never to write about him.

I won the right to write, but I lost my home of 25 years, most of my possessions, my chances for retirement, everything. Everything but a realization.

I can make a difference. I can conduct research for legitimate and reasonable purposes, document what happened, and analyze the choices of the people involved:

Maggie told me that she didn't know what she could say to me about what happened. However, we have decades to work it out. It will be productive. I'd like to direct the attention of attorneys and other parties to the:

Legitimate and Reasonable Purposes List

130701 Monday — A Bug and a Kitten

130701. I have received a bug and a kitten. Photos, to be clear. The kitten photo is from Kappelin who rescued the little thing today. It looks happy, don't you think?

Like the Masked Lua's plant, the kitten is content with the basics. The bare necessities that the Bear sang of half a century ago. Should they be as difficult for people, humans, to obtain as they are?

Jim and Grace Kiraly, made of hatred for the different, say yes. But I know the truth. Until I must leave, whenever it must be, I will speak. My abuser will not silence me.

Here is the part that matters. People are here to help.

130630 Sunday — A Day at the Lake of Merit

Tags: general
A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130630. During the rest of Saturday 130629 afternoon I had a Root Beer.

On Saturday evening I visited DNA the 82 year old attorney and his wife RNA. RNA had recently returned from a trip related to the death of a relative. I worked on DNA's Linux Mint laptop and made two changes. I disabled the touchpad, which had seemed to be causing problems, and installed the Squid cache.

DNA offered me food but I indicated that I was fasting. I accepted red wine.

I slept from 9:00pm Saturday to 1:00am Sunday. At about 2:00am I met with the man who runs the Edge of All There Is. He asked me about myself. Expressed interest in the nature of my speech. He said that I didn't talk like the people that he knows. Apparently some of them say things like this: “Wassup bro.”

Nothing wrong with that but I am more formal.

I had a SoBe's drink, Strawberry Banana type, full of chemical goodness. As fake flavors and textures go, the product is pretty good.

I rested for a little while. Slept for part of the time. Total sleep for Saturday night was 5.5 hours.

At 5:23am I left with the Knight for a trip to the Lake of Merit. The point was to observe a rowing competition. We were gone for about 14 hours.

One of the boats was the Resurrection and the Life. Another was the Hammer of Thor. This was a world where names had power and meaning.

During the day I skipped food.

The breathing-shock issue kicked in around 4:30pm. I couldn't do much about it until 7:30pm, after I was alone and could rest. At this point I was out for about half an hour.

The rowing competition was pleasant.

The rowers told me that this was the ultimate team sport. There are team oriented parts in, for example, soccer. And, in both soccer and rowing, individuals may have greater or lesser abilities. But, in rowing, individuals must be subsumed entirely into the team.

Before each race, and especially after periods of inactivity such as between the ends and starts of seasons, rowers need to sync. Syncing is the process where rowers adjust or readjust to how others on the team move or even breathe.

A rowing team must integrate to this surprising extent. More so than teams for other sports. However, the manner in which eyebrows are moved is not significant except perhaps at the elite level.

A team may be stable over time in terms of positions on boats. This may facilitate the syncing process. As things proceed, a familiar and trusted machine comes together again. But there may be changes in the roster. And the body forgets things regardless. It should be noted that details of the sport are stored in the muscles as well as the mind. The Knight tells me that it is called muscle memory.

One of his team-mates says that the role of the conscious mind in the sport is that of a supervisor. Both syncing and rowing per se involve things that happen at a deeper level.

It is like being a concert pianist. A pianist does not think about where the piano keys are. His fingers know where the keys are and what should be done.

During the competition, as in most team sports, the true reward for all of the work is not about victory. It is about moments. Moments where the team comes together. Becomes a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts.

Everything works and for moments something special is present. A creation, a machine, or even a being that has an identity and a nature of its own, that acts and reacts, and that is a work of art.

130629 Saturday — Minor medical notes

A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130629. I've tried to debug the breathing-shock issue and other medical issues before. Various degrees of progress. I think I'll track things again for a few days and see what turns up.

On Friday 130628 I fell asleep abruptly around 11:15pm. Woke up around 3:30am. Slept another two hours later. So about 6.25 hours sleep. That may be adequate for an older person. I've read that the need for sleep diminishes with age.

I had nothing to eat or drink on Saturday morning 130629 but water and a vitamin tablet. Limited to one tablet per Garibaldi's instructions as opposed to two. But the breathing-shock issue kicked in from 8:26am to 8:42am.

As usual, significantly altered breathing, weakness, need to lie down. Not ambiguous. No loss of consciousness or sleep on this occasion. Blood pressure could not be measured as I'd lost my blood pressure device to the Kiraly Cases.

I've felt more fragile recently during these episodes. I think that's the best way to put it.

At about 12:20pm I drank a “SoBe” beverage. Piņa colada flavor.

The breathing-shock issue occurred again from 2:26pm to 2:36pm. Breathing shifted for a shorter part of the period this time.

130629 Saturday — Masked Lua Fly Trap

Tags: god lua masked plant
A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130629. This is the story of the Masked Lua's Venus Fly Trap. There is a photo of the plant below.

The Masked Lua says:

The Venus Fly Trap is a finicky plant. It needs nutrient-poor soil. Lots of water (must be constantly damp).

It gets all its nutrients from water, sun and bugs. Any added nutrients, even those found in tap water, will burn its roots.

You could apply a drop of nitrogen to each leaf if you were to know what you were doing but if it drips into the soil you have weakened the plant to near death.

They grow well in peat moss and perlite. However, they are hard to take care of if you try to care for them like a regular plant. But once you know the ins and outs, and acquire what is necessary, they will thrive.

I've had this plant for 3 months. Grew it from dormancy. They grow a couple of leaves to collect sunlight, then they sprout and bigger traps. The leaf to the far right which is cut out of the picture was one of the first leaves it grew.

The plant is inside to protect it from the weather. I got it when it was still cool outside. They don't handle growing in low temperature environments well at all.

This one has ate 2 gnat type bugs. A plant eats around 3 to 5 bugs per trap before the trap starts to wither. And even if it never caught another bug, it would still thrive off of the sunlight alone.

It must be put in direct sunlight for a minimum of 4 hours a day. Without sunlight it will wilt in about a week.

This is the only plant I've been able to actually grow, which is odd because I have to care for it, and do things for it that would be abnormal for regular plants.

They are very neat. I have tried in the past to grow them unsuccessfully. And I grew attached to these type plants.

My former attempt was ruined by a neighbor kid uprooting them for a day. They died the same day due to being without water and I was felt sorrow for them. One of the reasons I won't place them outside.

They are finicky but fragile. But if properly taken care of they grow strong. If I were to water this one with tap water once, it would be hardy enough to handle it. I'd have to immediately switch back to distilled water though.

It was one of a pair, the other died because there likely wasn't enough space for it in the same pot.

This winter I'll have to put it thru dormancy. They need a dormancy period, and while they can be forced to do without one, it'll shorten the lifespan of the plant.

If this one will survive one dormancy, I'll likely invest in a more exotic variant. Then when spring comes back around I'll reawaken it hopefully.

These plants reproduce 2 ways. They can split at the root and become 2 plants. Or they can flower and sexually reproduce. This one has grown so many traps I'm sure it has split. I may attempt to separate them later and repot in larger pots.

Hopefully, if it is 2 plants, then at least one will survive a replanting and a dormancy period.

I didn't grow them, simply helped them grow on their own, just as one does with animals. Just making 2 animals reproduce doesn't make the one who forced the issue the creator of the newborn.

OldCoder notes: For this plant, your world is Heaven regardless. A place where it may exist. Serve its purpose. Be content.

The Masked Lua replies: Yes, and it looks quite happy with what it has been given upon which to thrive :) This is the only plant that I know of that has a smile, and looks content when filled.

OldCoder notes: That we should all have this much, humble as it is. This is right.

The Masked Lua replies: Yes, thru it all, we should be content with what God has given :)

130629 Saturday — 278 stops by

A full Kiraly Cases tags system will be added in 2013.

130629. 278 is a quiet and reflective number from the planet that is said to be wrong but actually is right.

278 stopped by to speak with me on Saturday. He offered me a security tip. People who use XChat and HexChat, and who have IRC cloaks, should execute this command:

/set irc_join_delay = 20

This command changes a setting to reduce the chances that an IRC cloak will be compromised. If the software is working correctly, the command only needs to be done once. The change should persist.

278 told me that he hoped things would get better for me. Then he added the following remarks. There are thoughts here that may help others:

I have been doing other things in the last years. As I move on in life I consider that 1 year of study in a specific language, and I'd be a certified IT-devel. It's just a piece of paper, really, but they are needed.

I have been in a hole a long time. Last night I started to see other options. It is not the future or life I had intended, but it's better then a hole, and it will get me moving. I abandon my old goals, and set new ones.

130628 Friday — Old West Coder Test

130628. I was intrigued to see visits to my sites about an hour ago from an unusual building. It appeared to be a Mac OS X user who was interested in Russell Kerechanko.

The Mac OS X user was located near a Courthouse at 101 Maple Street in Auburn, California. They were on a system with a 1440x900 display. Not somebody wandering the halls with a little iDevice. But there were contradictory signs about the nature of the facility.

So I obtained phone numbers associated with the building and called them. One number went to a phone system that dead-ended. The other number was for a Court phone system. I selected the Family Law Department and chatted with a pleasant woman there.

The woman, Debbie, explained that the building was in fact odd. It served two or three purposes. There was in fact a Courthouse. But also a museum. And, if I understood her correctly, Internet Access for the public.

We talked briefly about the Old West. And about its transformation today into museums and grade school projects such as dioramas of California Missions.

I outlined the nature of the Kiraly Cases. Debbie indicated that they sounded interesting. When she sees the sites, as she has said that she'll visit, I'd like her to know that her Time was appreciated.

I am more conscious of Time these days. I should speak with Twisted Time about this. Time matters. It is the most significant part of the Kiraly Cases. The Kiralys took more than my right hand, my possessions, my job opportunities, my reputation and possibly my home of 25 years.

They took what was left of my Time.

130627. I'm trying to decide how to write about an odd issue that I alluded to recently. But regular posts resume today.

Here's a technical note. Some of my readers use “Anonymous Proxies” to visit the sites. They do this in the belief that it will conceal their presence.

This is fine. However, people of this type may find it useful to know that this approach is not reliable. Depending on how things are set up, “Anonymous Proxies” leak information. The edges are not sealed.

By the way, the Google Cache doesn't necessarily work the way that people may believe either.

There are other approaches. It's best to educate one's self before one proceeds. That said, it's nice to see interest in my sites.

image 130627. Today was difficult physically.

Garibaldi IRL asked me if I take vitamins. I replied that I often take two tablets at a time. I showed him a bottle of the consumable supplements.

Garibaldi examined the bottle and said that I should take only one such pill at a time. He is aware that I sometimes take things literally though I do use metaphors. Here is an online exchange that followed.

Garibaldi: GET JUST ONE TABLET!

OldCoder: All right. For this week, I have already promised to do so.

Garibaldi: Whereas a tablet is not a portable device but a dose of medicine.

OldCoder: Very well. Therefore I am permitted unlimited devices of a computing nature. It will rain tablets from the night sky.

130627. I've reopened communications with the Santa Clara County Bar Association. The Department of Justice is interested in the misuse of CLETS; I'll start talking to them again in July. I figure it may be appropriate to file criminal complaints with the District Attorneys in the different counties involved as well. And one lawmaker's assistant has told me that his office will work with me on Kiraly Case issues.

Time won't permit me to document every communication. But I'll try to keep readers apprised of the general flow of things. For today, my opening (or reopening) remarks for the local Bar Association are posted below.

The Code of Professionalism referred to may be reviewed using the PDF link provided below. It is ironic to note that Hoge Fenton is listed first in the acknowledgments:

Hello. I'd like to obtain contact information for members of what I understand is referred to as the SCCBA Professionalism Committee or an explanation of how things are structured.

I'm presently reviewing issues connected to two cases that I was recently involved in. The cases were unusual. I believe that sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 of the Code of Professionalism may have been violated to a startling extent.

I hope to learn the proper way to proceed as I write about the cases and investigate possible options.

These were the Kiraly Cases. I am Robert Kiraly. Respondent in two CLETS actions initiated by my abuser James Kiraly of Pismo Beach. His law firm was Hoge Fenton of San Jose. Opposing Counsel was Michael Bonetto. I will be seeking to communicate with members of the Committee or other parties as the Bar Association recommends.

I request email to the address: kiralyfoundation at yahoo dot com

spelled kiralyfoundation at yahoo dot com. Or you may phone me at REDACTED but I don't presently have voicemail.

Thank you for your time.

130627. The photo below is of something new. The first full Cup of Coffee that this Coder has had in decades. Or possibly ever. I am not sure.

I had Frappucinos recently for the first time. People purchased them for me. In theory, Frappucinos are Coffee. However, in practice, they are Cups of Sinful and Delicious instead. Coffee is many things. But in the past Delicious is not a word that I would have used.

Today I was given Coffee with a French Vanilla flavor product added. And it was not half-bad. After half a century I believe I will make Coffee into a friend.

As a side note, here's an excerpt from Song That Sings Itself. This is a favorite Sparks song. For what it's worth, Ken Kiraly introduced me to the music of Sparks about two decades ago.

This room is filled with possibilities
Hush now listen and you'll hear
Something bordering on weird
Can you hear
No exaggeration no hallucination
I can hear it singing now

It's a song that sings itself
It's a song that sings itself
Twelve o'clock and all is well

Young fools are we
We think we own the world and own the stars
And yet in fact we barely own our cars

But in moments such as these
There are future memories
You will see

No exaggeration no hallucination
I can hear it singing now
Dim all the lights
Squeeze me so tight that logic flies from me

It's a song that sings itself
It's a song that sings itself
Twelve o'clock and all is well

Silent wings brushed me this year. The touch was gentle but they left marks as they passed. The one to whom the wings belong does not speak. He has no expression. But he is there. It is interesting.
