Introduction
Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole? To visit a surreal world, where black is white and white is carrots?
A friend, Metacognician in Shanghai, describes the situation as follows: “Life is more absurd than movies. I've gone down the rabbit hole too, when it just becomes more and more strange and you wonder how that all is supposed to make sense.” I asked him if I should just embrace it. He answered, “Why should you ... change the universe?”
It started with a psychotic named Jim Kiraly who resides, we think, at 6329 Twinberry Circle, Avila Beach, California.
Jim Kiraly is a respected citizen. A churchgoer. A Vice President of Transamerica Corporation. And a violent abuser who tried to use an emergency anti-violence measure, one intended to protect battered women, to stop his victim in a wheelchair from writing a book.
Concise enough? :)
For attorneys: Jim Kiraly filed for CLETS against his son and victim, who lived 200 miles away, did not own a car, and was in a wheelchair. His son and victim was not asked to end communications. Jim had no (zero) specific and relevant allegations that were not perjury. But he turned down repeated offers of no-contact and a signed stipulation that gave him everything but CLETS. He insisted on CLETS if his victim ever once “discussed” him with third parties.
In the end, Jim Kiraly signed an agreement far weaker than the ones he'd been offered.
A review of Court paperwork and other materials will tend to confirm that Jim and other parties, including attorneys on all sides, committed multiple felonies, crimes, and faux pas. :P
The word “abuser” is stated here publicly and without equivocation. A formal offer is hereby made to reaffirm the word in writing and under oath. Attorneys will understand the significance of the point. In short, there is little terror of a threatened defamation suit on this side. Actually, we feel that such a suit will fit nicely up Jim Kiraly's abuser ass.
Jim has one son, Ken Kiraly, who invented the Amazon Kindle and is one of the leads at Amazon's secret Lab126. Another son, Tom Kiraly is one of the leads, a Vice President-CFO type, at medical insurance firms, including one of the largest, Humana Corporation.
These people and some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley legal circles have committed or are involved in multiple crimes.
For the next decade or two, we're going to explore the crimes that these people committed, the motivations and the denial involved, the background and histories that led each person to make the choices that they did, and ways to build upon what happened and move towards positive societal goals.
There's plenty to go over. These people committed or were involved in: Spousal abuse, child abuse, DDOS (a highly prosecutable violation of CFAA), extortion, perjury, conspiracy to commit perjury (a possible felony), false police reports, conspiracy to file false police reports (a possible felony), unlawful threats, barratry, defamation, malpractice, civil harassment, criminal harassment, abuse of process, and violations of SCCBA Professional Standards.
The point was to force Jim's oldest son and victim, me, to sign a gag order. I was in a wheelchair. I'd never made a single inappropriate threat against my abuser. I wasn't even asked to not to call anybody. But Jim threatened to put me in a violence database unless I agreed never to write about him.
I won the right to write, but I lost my home of 25 years, most of my possessions, my chances for retirement, everything. Everything but a realization.
I can make a difference. I can conduct research for legitimate and reasonable purposes, document what happened, and analyze the choices of the people involved:
- Jim Kiraly, abuser. Possibly Treasurer at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Vice President of Transamerica Corporation. Also connected to New Life Pismo Church. Involved with Service Core for Retired Executives (SCORE).
- Grace Kiraly, abuse victim and Christ Follower.
- Tom Kiraly, abuse victim, VP or CFO of firms such as Hanger Inc., Humana Corporation, and Sheridan Healthcare.
- Gail Cheda, slightly demented Realtor, spittle flying.
- Ken Kiraly, abuse victim, inventor of the Amazon Kindle, lead at Amazon's secret Lab126, sociopath.
- Tom Stutzman of Thomas Chase Stutzman, a Family Law attorney whose hobbies include martial arts and alleged sexual harassment
- John Perrott of Thomas Chase Stutzman, a personable albeit lazy Family Law attorney who has a slight tendency towards fraud and malpractice
- Chris Burdick, head of the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA). Chris, you broke a written promise to speak with me because, you said, we had “Prior...” You didn't finish the sentence. Were you worried that I might take false statements to the State Bar? What's the deal with you and Hoge Fenton, anyway? What will we find if we dig?
- Michael Bonetto of Hoge Fenton. Michael, seriously, what are you?
- Alison Buchanan of Hoge Fenton, ethics specialist. Alison, did you contribute to the SCCBA Professional Standards, or was that before your time?
- Tracie Zerr of Thomas Chase Stutzman, a woman of boundless intelligence and sensitivity.
- Maggie Desmond of Hoge Fenton. Maggie, information, please. What is your role in Hoge Fenton's campaign to hush victims of abuse? When the clients that you've protected beat up women, how do you compartmentalize?
Maggie told me that she didn't know what she could say to me about what happened. However, we have decades to work it out. It will be productive. I'd like to direct the attention of attorneys and other parties to the:

130106. Medical care plays a role in the Kiraly Cases. It's time to explain how this issue fits in. I don't have regular or extensive medical care. Thomas Kiraly, my brother and, ironically, one of the higher ups at Humana Corporation, and I discussed this briefly circa January 24, 2012; Thomas's 52nd birthday. I'd called Thomas by prior arrangement to wish him Happy Birthday. Later on, in Court papers, I believe that Thomas described this prearranged call as “stalking”. As a side note, I could probably demonstrate that this was perjury. I'd mostly need to identify the admin assistant who helped to set up the call that Thomas lied about subsequently. The part that's relevant today, though, is that Thomas asked me how I was or words to that effect. I said that I wasn't well. My brother immediately became agitated and snapped, “Services! There are services!” But actually, depending on what is meant, this isn't quite true. I'd like to share a photo and some remarks afterward about what it means. |
I've got a few medical issues. Who doesn't? It's normal. In my case, some issues are more interesting than others. For about 12 years, the one that's been the most fun is this: I've lost the ability to walk at times and had screaming level pain for days as part of it. Since the middle of the 2000s my appetite has declined. Circa August 2009, I think, food started to put me into something similar to shock. I ate one meal, in particular, in the Fall that proved to be a significant problem. I was apparently delirious for days. As part of that, my temperature wandered back and forth for months from well below normal to 100 plus throughout the day. I didn't start to recover from that until around Christmas 2009. The middle of 2011 was difficult. I was trapped in my apartment for about two weeks without food and little water. To obtain water required a trip across the floor that took about an hour at times. During that period, my right hand started to swell. Three fingers ended up deformed. One of them remains twisted to this day. Grace Kiraly, my mother, saw that finger in 2012. It was the day when Grace made the unannounced trip to visit me that tends to confirm the fact that James Kiraly, Dear Old Dad, is a perjurer. As a note to Michael Bonetto, you're aware that you've sent me proof in writing that Grace's trip actually happened, right? I thought I'd say thank you for the written evidence that your clients and you yourself may be involved in actual prosecutable crimes. In Summer 2011, after about two weeks, people came to see me and found me on the floor. I remember the expressions on their faces. As I understand it, I didn't look quite right. I received gifts of food and a wheelchair. It was about a month before I was strong enough to travel reliably without assistance. It took me months to recover fully from the events of this period. Good Times, as they say. The food came from one of the markets that came and went at the Shockley site. It seemed really good. I tried to go out again before I recovered. Made it to Armadillo Willys for a meal. I found that I couldn't walk afterward. Stood there on the sidewalk. Must have looked like a fool. A young man saw me, put me in his car, and drove me the rest of the way. He was a Christian. A genuine Christian and not a Kiraly. When Christ meets this one, He won't be sick to His stomach. As a note to the Baron, that was the young man I asked you to phone and advise as a return favor. But you never did call him, did you? The Kiralys aren't going to stop the book, because I need to write about that type of decision. In 2012, the Kiraly Cases complicated things. For reasons related to illegal service by Hoge Fenton, as in service not actually taking place and related mispresentations or actual lies by Hoge Fenton, I suffered physically in June. Actually, due to a sort of physical feedback loop, I'd probably have died if I hadn't made it to the hospital. And I nearly didn't make it there. Since that incident, there have been odd issues. In the Spring of 2012, during the same period when James Kiraly, my father and my abuser, was telling people “don't be afraid” to help him “prosecute Bob”, my right hand swelled up again, this time to the point where I was afraid that I'd lose it. Tariq helped me get through that. Subsequently, the mobility and swelling issues improved though they've come back at times. One finger is permanently deformed. I've been told that a hand surgeon could repair it. Regrettably the Kiralys have seen to it that I can't afford the operation. So, my mother Grace Kiraly has helped to take away my hand. I'm not surprised that James Kiraly, Thomas Kiraly, and Kenneth Kiraly would do this. It's kind of sad, though, that Grace has chosen to take my hand. Regardless, God Bless the Kiralys! The “shock” issue has progressed in some respects. I've been eating about two days a week though I hope to increase this. The failure to eat hasn't been intentional. But I've lost about 65 pounds. On the other hand, last week, I ate on three days. Surely all is well. What should I do about these minor issues? Grace Kiraly says “pray” and “take responsibility” in unspecified but undoubtedly relevant ways. James's response to medical issues has been to suggest that that I told a relative to ask James for money for medical care, that I threatened extortion, apparently to obtain money for medical care, and generally tried to get money from James, for medical care or because I'm not a nice person. There would be some irony in the last part. |
The theory behind James Kiraly's lies is, if I understand correctly, that I threatened to make false accusations that James was an abuser. Problem with this is that I actually told Grace Kiraly, my mother, “Absolutely not!” when she brought up money. And James, of course, is in fact an abuser. Hey, Michael Bonetto. Happen to notice, no weasel words in this case? I do know how to use them. But I'm explicitly, intentionally, and specifically choosing not to do so for this point. Too subtle for you? Read this carefully. I'm not saying, “I feel that James Kiraly is an abuser”. I'm stating the simple fact that James Kiraly is an abuser. Care to make a similar specific assertion regarding the victim you're hunting in Abuse of Process and the extortion you “feel” that he has committed? No? Hmm. I wonder why not. |
Well, Michael, where's the suit for defamation that Iohannes warned me to beware of? Surely you've advised the upright citizen who is my father to initiate one. But, no... What my attorney seems to be saying now is that Michael Bonetto will do an end run around the awkward facts... by calling this weblog “harassment” as opposed to “untrue”. I confess I'm puzzled. The weblog did not go up until months after James Kiraly lied repeatedly and came after me. So it couldn't justify the abuse of process, criminal conspiracy, false and fraudulent actions, and actual prosecutable crimes that Michael Bonetto of Hoge Fenton and James Kiraly of Pismo Beach, Thomas Kiraly of Humana, and Kenneth the Kindle Kid appear to be involved in. And given that the Kiralys have lied again and again, tried to put me in a violent person database, contributed to physical injuries, cost me five figures in legal expenses alone, fought like Hell to stop my book, and generally REDACTED my life, it seems to me I'm the one who's been “harassed”. It's difficult to be sure of what's actually being said, though. As far as I know, James Kiraly has not listed a single specific extortion incident. Unless you count things like my attempt to give Thomas Kiraly our grandfather Ivan's religious poetry books. I'm still scratching my head over that one. |
There is a vague reference to a “relative” passing on demands for medical care. But who was the relative? Is this stated somewhere and I've missed it? Was it George? Sandy? Steven? Shirley? Somebody else? Tell me, Michael. Who is it that this particular lie is about? Michael is being unusually cautious at this point because he knows I'm more observant than most abuse victims that Hoge Fenton might try to hunt. That over time I'll identify any places where Michael misses “weasel words” in statements similar to “I feel that there was extortion”. That the matter isn't going to rest regardless of the outcome of Long Cause. Moving on, Thomas Kiraly says, “Services! There are services!” I didn't ask Thomas to provide an ounce of medical help, by the way... I'm so tired of the Kiralys. Or, ironically again, sick of them. At any rate, let's briefly review medical care in America. Medical care is funded largely by “insurance”. People generally get insurance by working at jobs with “benefits”. If somebody is unemployed for an extended period of time, or if they work at jobs without “benefits” they must purchase “insurance” and/or medical care directly. This can be an issue for the long-term unemployed because, surprise, they tend to have less money. And, if I remember correctly, I haven't had a “benefits” job since 2003. And I've only landed one major contract (non-benefits) job in all that time. But I shouldn't complain. As Grace Kiraly, kind-hearted Christ Follower, shouted at me: “Whose fault is that?!” “Well, lack of insurance isn't a problem,” people like the Kiralys say. “Services! There are services!” Actually, no. The U.S. is a “managed democracy”. This means that considerable effort goes into the creation of illusions. Illusions, for example, to the effect that things like “Services!” exist. I'll list a few of the magical “Services!” for fun. The following remarks are based on my understanding and are not presented as facts. If you notice mistakes, contact me and I'll try to make corrections. |
In California, where I presently live, and most likely in most states, there are “safety nets” that kick in when assets drop to close to zero. Close enough that apartment dwellers who don't own real estate are close to the homeless level. As one example, as of 2012, the asset tests for Medi-Cal limited individuals to $2,000 in non-real estate assets though they were allowed to have one vehicle, household goods, life insurance, and a burial plan. If I remember correctly, the Kiralys have indicated that the existence of a low-asset safety net is evidence that I'm not “taking responsibility” for my situation. By the way, Michael Bonetto, I believe part of that is in writing in the Discovery material. All that I need to do to obtain this type of medical care is to wait until my assets are gone. Surely it is irresponsible of me to prefer not to become homeless as part of the process. “Well,” people of the Kiraly sort say, “Just go to the Emergency Room for medical care! They aren't allowed to turn you away! Praise Jesus, the problem is solved!” I mean no disrespect by the “Praise Jesus” part. It's more that people like the Kiralys use Christ to justify their unremitting hatred of those who are sick or disadvantaged. I feel that Christ will vomit if He is unfortunate enough to meet them. Remarks about the Emergency Room are confusing. Actually, they're idiotic. No, the E.R. isn't allowed to turn you away. And? The E.R. does expect to be paid. It may waive payment... if you are registered in one of the low-asset programs. Other arrangements may be possible but this will vary from case to case. The bottom line is that the E.R. is a business and not a “Service!” of the Kiraly fantasy type. “Wait, there's Disability too! Just sign up for Disability,” the Kiraly types say. “You Lucky Dog, You, medical care will be free!” I wouldn't know. I did seek a diagnosis for the mobility issue while I had access to regular care. If I'd been able to get one, I might have tried for Disability. That was back around 2003. I had the same doctor as Andy Grove, the billionaire. In fact, Mr. Grove and I once squeezed through the doctor's doorway together. At any rate, the doctor got as far as labelling the problem as “necrosis”. But I was unemployed shortly afterward. I'll close this post by explaining the photo of an arm above. It's my arm. A bit out of focus, sorry about that. The photo illustrates a new issue that's arisen in recent months. Most of me is covered at times in large patches of swellings of different sizes. I thought for a while that it might be scurvy. Now I lean more towards the theory that it's a variation of the thing that's deformed my hand. And that sometimes puts me in my wheelchair. This issue is probably minor regardless. However, if the photo doesn't make things clear, it's sometimes a bit unpleasant. |

130105. Slept 6:45am to 12:15pm Friday 130104 and from 12:30am to 3:15am Saturday 130105. Sleep isn't back to normal after all. Friday 130104 is a blur. I don't think I was well. However, I worked on Kiraly Cases tasks and a couple of technical projects. I worked from 3:30am to 12:30pm Saturday 130105 on a number of relatively minor tasks, including a letter to my attorney Iohannes. The “shock” issue kicked in around 9:00am. I needed to rest from about 9:15am to 9:30am. This may have been due to the fact I'd had some fake orange juice earlier. In the afternoon, I went to the buffet to eat. This was my third meal this week. I think it's been a while since I ate that much. I was pretty sick in the evening, though. One of the managers at the buffet gave me my meal for free. We talked about the restaurant's business model afterwards. I asked him questions about his competition. He said that the company wanted to capture some of the Applebees and Chilis markets. We discussed possible ways to make this happen. |

130105. On Friday 130104 I spoke in real life with an older engineer who lives in my building. He was bemused by what I told him of IRC, Linux, startupers, and Kids These Days. The kids who play with VPS instead of Lego®. It's 2013 now. Forty-odd years ago, LittleCoder needed to take a train 10 miles to get to computers. These days, most people have access to a PC and they can get Linux, which is both a family of operating systems and a massive collection of development software, for free. So anybody can code or do webdev. And some kids start at age 9. But I was surprised to learn last year that, even in this day and age, many school systems don't provide much of a foundation for computer education. Some schools actually teach Microsoft Word and call that computing. O_o Other schools don't cover computing at all. Kids who wish to learn end up teaching themselves basic coding principles, CLI, network security, shell, assembly language, regular expressions, webdev (HTML, PHP, etc.), and VPS. A while back, I introduced one kid to a casual acquaintance named Susan, a friend of Eric S. Raymond's who's interested in edutech. There was essentially no computer education in his school system. Susan offered to look into his situation but ended up giving up because it was a rural state and she had no contacts there. As a side note to Susan, who is an intelligent but impatient young woman: You left one of my channels partly because of the Chaos and Order issue. You didn't quite understand what he is. I'd like to extend an invitation to you. Would you like to meet him? :-) I asked the kid if his edutech problem was because of the rural nature of the area. He said: I honestly don't know. This is a problem everywhere. Not enough computer courses in the U.K. too. The raspberry pi was made because of it. The creators of the rpi made it because of not enough computer science classes. They should have more progamming courses and they shouldn't teach us just microsoft word. Kappelin had this to say, and I agree: Schools, you mean, are not universities? Elementary and junior high and high schools do support basic word processing and using excel and powerpoint. Some high schools offer entry-level python and java. But as a rule, young programmers find no support in schools. It's because of this: United States education system does not support individuality or creativity. The *majority* of students do not code or program or anything. The *majority* is what determines where the money goes. So there is no money for supporting this. It's part of a general problem. They are taking away music and art programs all around the country too. Where does funding come from? The answer is that it doesn't. Some people say we are falling behind with having a shorter school year to Asian countries. Either way, we are not adapting for an ever-changing market. Where I live, some schools literally cannot afford printer paper. Require students to print documents themselves because the years prior, teachers used too much paper and nobody controlled the paper usage budget. The same teachers who have secure pensions and 401Ks and high salaries and insurance. The US is scr*wed unless someone or all of us can re-align education. Coding is like art is like music. not popular given majority. The Masked Lua added: All there is true. The ones who see computers as creative rather than consumptive are starting young and they do more than what I would of imagined with computers at their age. I agree as well about the schools' take on teaching MSWord as teaching how to use a computer. Schools no longer teach how to do something, they teach you a way to find answers to questions that are asked on state tests and their tests, but to think for yourself.... no longer taught. Education is fine, if you are one of those who can be taught to fit into some prefit definition of what your job will be in the future, but anything that requires you to be able to think on your own is pretty much skipped. |

Just a few IRC fragments. 130105. Phenek comments on Finland's climate: It's not cold out. It's only -3C. It's been +2C for many days. -3C is better than +2C. +2C means wet and water. +25C is better than +2C and -3C but we have that only few days per year :D Sometimes it's even +28C but really not often. More than +23C usually means a lot of people complaining about hot weather. I guess for most Finns +15C is the optimal summer weather. +15C = +59F and +23C = +73.4F. I'd be fine with weather all the time between +25C to +35C :) 77F to 95F. 130105. Mr. Meow offers an anti-spam webdev tip: A basic way of keeping away spam bots is making a tiny text box. Have the Perl or PHP script check if there is anything in there. If yes, it blocks the message. Keeps out automated bots and some spammers who just fill in every field in a forum. 130105. Kappelin on gratitude: Do not ask for thanks. They become worthless. 130105. The story of Sir Dalud and Squeak:
